Organic first,paid second

Most businesses buy attention before they've earned any. Running paid behind content people have already chosen to watch is cheaper, and it's only possible when the same team makes the content and runs the ads.

The usual setup goes like this. A production company makes an advert. A marketing agency puts budget behind it. Nobody knows whether people actually want to watch it until the money's already gone. We think that's backwards.

Let the audience vote first

Every piece of content we make goes out organically before a penny of paid touches it. The feed is the cheapest focus group there is. Within a few days you know which hooks hold people, which formats get shared, and which ideas quietly die. That's information you can't buy at the start of a campaign; you can only earn it.

Once a piece has proven itself in the wild, that's what we put budget behind. Not the one the client liked best in the edit suite. The one the audience picked.

Why it's cheaper

Platforms reward content people engage with. An ad built from a clip that's already holding attention organically starts its life with the algorithm on its side: better watch time, more interaction, lower cost to reach the next person. You're not paying the platform to force something in front of people. You're paying it to show more people something they already like.

"Paid doesn't get cheaper because you spend more. It gets cheaper because the content is better."

Why it needs one team

This only works if the people reading the data can also go back and make more of what's working, quickly. When production and distribution sit with two different suppliers, that loop breaks: one side sends a report, the other side books a reshoot for six weeks' time, and the moment's gone.

Under one roof, the insight from Tuesday's numbers is in Thursday's shoot. That's the whole point of how we're built.

How to start

  • Post consistently on one or two platforms for at least a month before running ads
  • Track which pieces hold attention, not just which get likes
  • Put budget behind the top performers and cut variations from the same shoot
  • Feed what you learn straight back into the next round of content

If you're spending on ads and not seeing the return, the problem usually isn't the budget. It's what the budget is behind.
