The brief
Get a maker's work in front of the people who'd buy it.
Matt Jones makes ceramics by hand, and the process is the sell: the wheel, the glaze, the kiln. But a studio in South Wales only reaches so far on its own, and the work needed to turn into visits to the website, not just likes.
The brief was a single promotional shoot that could become a hero film and a run of social content, then a paid campaign to send people to the shop.
How we solved it
One shoot day. Five cutdowns. 12,500 clicks.
We spent a day in the studio and shot the whole process, from raw clay to finished piece, with the kind of close, slow detail that stops a thumb. That became a 16:9 promo film and five vertical cutdowns, each one a different stage of the making.
We then ran the cutdowns as a website traffic campaign. The result was 700k+ views and 12,500+ clicks through to the shop at 10p each.
