The brief
Turn a big Instagram audience into a YouTube one.
Soph had built a loyal following on Instagram, but YouTube was a different game: longer, slower and far more dependent on packaging. The channel had a handful of videos and around 130 subscribers.
The brief was to manage the channel end to end, from what to film to how it's titled, and grow an audience that actually watches.
How we solved it
The docuseries was just the start.
We launched the channel with a two-part docuseries, 'my life, unfiltered', telling Soph's story properly for the first time. It gave the channel a reason to exist and an audience to build on: the lead episode has passed 30,000 views with a 15-minute average watch time.
Since then we've taken on all post-production for the channel: every vlog and episode is edited, packaged and titled by us, and we step in to shoot when a piece needs it. We also handle the activation of the YouTube content and the channel management end to end, from release schedule to thumbnails to what gets cut down for social. Across the channel that's 60k+ views, 10k+ hours watched and over 2,000 new subscribers in a few months.
